In winter 2021, our friends John Snorri , Ali Sadpara and his son Sajid, along with Chilean climber Juan Pablo Mohr, attempted to summit K2. We were making a film about their historic ascent. Tragically, three of the four climbers never returned. Only Sajid survived.
Return to K2
Five months later, we decided to mount a self-funded expedition to K2 and assist Sajid in finding his father and our missing friends. Our goals were to help Sajid find answers, obtain closure for families of the missing mountaineers and complete the film as a tribute to our lost friends.
Against all odds, we succeeded in reaching our goals. Our friends were found, Sajid was able to bury his father at 8000m and we completed the summer portion of production on our K2 film to fulfill our promise made to our friends.
Support this project
Many supporters online have asked how to help. This is our response. All proceeds raised will be used to help cover our outstanding debts for the summer search expedition and assist us with moving the project forward.

Where we go from here
Our next steps are to secure partners to assist us in completing production and post-production on the feature length documentary that combines both winter and summer expeditions.
Any additional funds raised from this campaign, beyond the immediate overdue expenses, will be used to assist us in completing production and producing promotional materials to help us raise all funds necessary to complete the project.
We appreciate your support. Thank you from all of us.
